Why Living Green is Important
Our habits are where our waste becomes invisible
Using disposables is one of the many habit areas of your life you should analyze when you seriously want to reduce your eco-footprint. A few others are energy and water waste. It helps when you find the areas in your life where you waste the most, be it excess trash or recycling, over-use of water, or energy waste, or increased carbon output.
Once you identify your waste habits it’s easier to find ways to reduce them. Like eating carry out less, cutting back on showers, or (the worst) stop standing with the fridge open! These all stem from habits. Trash is one of many waste habits we humans have evolved into, we will need to work together to eliminate them all.
One of the many reasons I fight for the planet… I can’t shake the guilt from the sadness I saw coming from this tree.
