Hi there! I’m Jen Thilman, writer, coach, and planet lover.

I love to write and teach others about writing. I’m also passionate about helping restore a healthy environment on our planet.

I’ve been learning the craft of writing for over a decade, and am now writing and editing a post-climate-apocalyptic dystopian series called In A Captured State. In July 2025, I will be signing up Beta Readers.

I also write for Impactful Ninja on how to live sustainably.

In September 2024, I started a Fiction Writers’ Prompt and Critique Group, which is free to attend (click the link to register) and is open to anyone interested in learning the craft of writing. Whether you’ve been writing for a while or are starting, writing to prompts helps you develop the skills you need to get your stories on the page. Hearing how other artists craft their stories is also a lot of fun.
