I’m Jen – writer, coach, and super-fan of Mother Earth.
I’ve been writing and working to help the planet heal for years, and now that I write fiction our planet’s health is often part of the story.
My debut series, In A Captured State, is a post-climate apocalyptic dystopian novel that takes place five generations after Earth is devastated and has become barely habitable (description below).
Book One, Sanzarth to NeoEarth, is targeted for Spring 2026.

Here’s a brief description of
In A Captured State: Sanzarth to NeoEarth
In 2174, five generations after a climate apocalypse, humans live underground in Sanzarth, a preplanned Utopia. The only glitch is that young adults are disappearing.
When strong willed Peoria is abducted on her 17th birthday by Dashara, an unseasoned hunter from the surface world, she finds out the truth: humans did survive on the surface and they’re enslaving people from her underground world.
Unsure of who to trust, these two women must fight the conflict between their worlds, and their feelings towards each other. To do this, they will have to take on a system that requires everyone but the rich live In A Captured State.
Sign up as a Beta Reader and get a free copy of the book once it’s published, and opportunities to save on the rest of the series.
